The day when i got my superpower.

I used to be a normal kid. I played with my toys and chatted with my friends. Then one day, I was playing hide-and-go-seek with my friend when we got separated. 

I looked around in confusion and eventually found him. He told me that he was in trouble and that someone was looking for him. I tried to tell him that it was ok but he refused to listen. He said they would find him if he didn't stay hidden. 

I was terrified when he told me this but I couldn't do anything about it except watch as they dragged him away into the darkness of the night. 

I wanted to go after them but there was no way for me to do so without getting caught myself as well! 

So instead, I sat down on the ground and thought about what had just happened: how could someone get such powers without knowing? How could people be so evil? 

And then it hit me like a ton of bricks: the only way I could stop them from hurting anyone else like this again is by becoming a superhero myself!
